4) STUDENT LEADERSHIP AWARD- For June 2006 Nominations need to be in by January 2006.
The Canadian Association of Principals and Premiere Schools Agenda Ltd. are proud to sponsor this award. The purpose of this award is to afford principals the opportunity to recognize one of their student leaders and to enter that student as a nominee for a national scholarship.
The C.A.P Student Leadership Award scholarship is designed to provide the broadest possible base upon which to evaluate candidates. Twenty-one scholarships of $500.00 each will be awarded. Only students graduating in their final year of high school are eligible for nomination.
Each school that wishes to participate in the scholarship program is asked to nominate one student leader who demonstrates outstanding leadership. Nominees should be in the top 20% of their class.
We have not had a nominee from Westwood in the past couple of years. We hope that that changes this year.
